As a disorder of executive function, ADHD may
impact almost any aspect of life. There’s stress
keeping up with daily routines and responsibilities to
start. But then, research also links ADHD with an
array of health concerns ranging from struggles with
weight to eating disorders, and from difficulty with
sleep to actual sleep disorders. ADHD uniquely
undermines itself by making health routines that
improve ADHD symptoms harder to sustain, and
also routines used to manage ADHD itself more
difficult to maintain. This talk features a practical,
evidence based discussion of how ADHD
undermines everyday life, and what to do about it.
