Surveys show that one in ten Americans is in recovery from drugs and/or alcohol. Those numbers are even higher when you add programs such as Overeaters Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, Alanon, etc. Whether you are aware of it or not, you have likely worked with - or WILL work with - someone who is in a recovery program. This course is designed to introduce you to the language that is common in the recovery community in order to leverage in our work with CD clients the words, themes, and even mantras that may already be part of the client’s thoughts and speech.
