Adam Mathy recently graduated from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. His dissertation examined the interaction of hoarding symptoms, age, and cognition to identify cognitive deficits related to the organizational challenges seen in those with Hoarding disorder (HD). He completed his psychology internship at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and currently works as the Trauma Postdoctoral Fellow at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. In his free time, Adam enjoys fishing and going to breweries.

Elizabeth is a Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is completing her clinical internship at the University of Michigan. Her clinical and research interests include hoarding, OCD, and anxiety disorders, as well as learning models maintaining and exacerbating symptoms of these disorders over time. Her dissertation research examines sorting and categorizing difficulties among people who struggle with extreme clutter. Past research on clutter published in academic journals includes an empirical study on digital hoarding and a pilot study of a simple virtual reality intervention to improve treatment readiness.
