Dyslexia is widely misunderstood; it is not a disability –but simply the result of a different way of thinking being a weak fit with how we teach. Research is showing that if we teach in a way that fits how students think and learn -verbal and non-verbal conceptualisers–we can prevent the associated learning challenges and enhance the giftedness. It’s not as difficult as it sounds.
