It is quite typical to see difficulties with organization in individuals with language/literacy disorders and learning disabilities, and it can be the case that these organizational challenges are recognized before the language/literacy disorder and/or learning disability is suspected. This class is meant to increase student’s awareness of the signs
and symptoms of language/literacy disorders and learning disabilities in children, adolescents and adults. Students will learn to recognize red flags in their clients, and they will also learn when and to whom referrals should be made.
