This class addresses the importance of setting and maintaining boundaries when working with clients affected by

chronic disorganization (CD), reviews the ICD Code of Ethics and considers safety issues that may be faced by professional organizers.

This class will cover the ICD Code of Ethics. It will look at situations that may lead to ethical dilemmas and discuss ways to manage them. Boundaries in the area of professional conduct, conflict of interest, confidentiality and business practices will be discussed. We will consider personal safety for organizers, including issues that may

be present in situations where chronic disorganization is an element of the organizing work.
